General Manager

Job summary

Adecco's client, a well-respected Japanese corporation, is actively seeking for a highly responsible candidates to fill in position General Manager for its digital hub based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Job Responsibilities

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Pioneer to join newly setup IT office in Vietnam
• Collaborate with the CEO to devise and execute the organization’s vision and operational strategies.
• Oversee the daily operations of the business, making sure that everything is done effectively and efficiently
• Prepare regular reports for upper management (VN&JP)
• Monitor company operations and employee productivity, build company culture, ensure the development of members and meet organizational goals
• Ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, professional development, performance management and employee retention
• Ensure compliance with business regulations according to the law

Experience requirements

• Proven experience in general management within the IT or tech industry.
• Experience in working at Japanese companies, preferable startup environment.
• Experience in IT project management
• Proficiency in Japanese.

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology or a related field.
• Fluency in Japanese (N2 or higher level)
